What this job involves:
In charge of the personnel engaged for any technical services in the assigned building siteAct as the point of contact between the Contractor and Venue Operation Team on all matters relating to technical servicesResponsible for supervising and reporting all technical services performed under the contract, including those technical services provided by third party contractorsAssist the Engineering Manager to provide professional advice / technical support for any enhancement / improvement / energy efficient operation proposal as well as development of cost-effective maintenance strategyEnsure all buildings, facilities, systems, and machinery are in good condition and performing at their highest standardDeliver the PPM and ensure all work orders are completed on timePrepare tender documents for outsourcing works including facilities services, repair, maintenance, renew / replace works, test & inspection, recondition, overhaul, fitting-out, renovation certification and license renewal services on the Authority's terms and conditionsReview and monitor the performance of vendors and contractorsProvide 24/7 emergency call support and site attendanceOther ad-hoc duties as assigned by the AuthorityInterested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:
Desired experience and technical skills
Required
Degree holder or above in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services or related disciplineHolder of relevant professional qualifications such as HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE or equivalent is preferableRegistered Electrical Worker with Certificate C0 or aboveMinimum six years of technical services experience, of which a minimum of 2 years in the assistant manager grade of FM / PM operation gained in venues of a scale equivalent to the VenueGood PC knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etcGood communication and effective interpersonal skillsCapable of work independently under pressure with minimal supervisionFluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, especially in report writingLocation:
