The Assistant Electrical Designer will support the development of electrical designs and documentation across a wide range of projects and clients. This role involves assisting with planning, design, drafting, and documentation while ensuring compliance with company, client, and project standards. The position offers exposure to diverse project types and the opportunity to contribute as part of a collaborative project team.

- Assist in the design of electrical systems, including schematics, grid layouts, power systems, lighting systems, protection and controls, and site/facility design.
- Prepare engineering drawings from sketches, verbal instructions, and design information using CAD software.
- Support the setup of CAD configurations and procedures at the start of projects to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Contribute to the production of drawings, including problem analysis, design layouts, and calculations for complex assignments.
- Apply prescribed methods and standard techniques in drawing sequences, component sizing, and refining sketches.
- Incorporate redlines, markups, and revisions into ongoing projects.
- Analyze reports, drawings, and test data to inform design decisions.
- Apply relevant design codes and specifications to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Complete and review design drawings within established scope, budget, and schedule.
- Assist with integrating schedules, budgets, and project criteria into electrical layouts and documentation.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, plot files, and related project information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned while adhering to all company policies and standards.
