Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales MICE & Event to join our team in NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow our MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and Event sales division, driving revenue and fostering strong client relationships.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue from MICE and event businessLead and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting clear goals and performance expectationsProactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MICE and events sectorCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfactionAnalyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategiesManage key client accounts and maintain strong relationships with industry partnersOversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and pricing negotiationsMonitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvementRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functionsEnsure compliance with company policies and industry regulationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related fieldMinimum 5-7 years of experience in MICE and event sales, with a proven track record of achieving targetsDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales teamIn-depth knowledge of the MICE and events industry, including current trends and best practicesStrong proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and revenue management techniquesExcellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsStrategic thinking and analytical abilities to drive business growthExperience in budget management and forecastingFluency in Thai and English languages is essentialProfessional certifications in MICE or event management (e.g., CMP, CMM) are preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesWillingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
