Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications
**Description:** **Role Overview** **_Hotel industry experience is a prerequisite for applicants_** The Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the hotel’s integrated marketing and communications strategy to strengthen brand positioning, drive revenue across all segments and enhance the hotel’s visibility in local, regional and international markets. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across digital, PR, brand partnerships and content creation. The candidate will act as the brand guardian, ensuring all communications reflect Park Hyatt’s refined identity and align with Park Hyatt’s global brand standards. **Scope of Work** **Strategic Marketing & Brand Positioning** + Develop and execute a comprehensive annual marketing communications plan with measurable objectives, strategies and action steps. + Ensure all marketing initiatives align with Hyatt’s corporate strategy and Park Hyatt brand standards. + Position Park Hyatt Bangkok as a leading luxury hospitality brand through innovative storytelling, partnerships and experiential campaigns. + Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms and collateral. **Public Relations & Media Engagement** + Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with local, regional and international media, influencers and key opinion leaders. + Manage press releases, media kits and hotel representation at public events, ensuring positive coverage and brand alignment. + Oversee press visits, interviews and media events, ensuring seamless coordination and brand consistency. + Monitor media sentiment and respond proactively to opportunities or reputational risks. **Digital Marketing & Social Media** + Lead the hotel’s digital strategy, including website management, SEO, paid campaigns and social media presence. + Work very closely with the **Digital Cluster Team** on all digital initiatives to maximize revenue and ROI from **brand.com** and other digital platforms + Ensure all digital platforms are optimized for engagement, conversion and brand storytelling. + Collaborate with Hyatt’s regional digital team to implement global initiatives and measure ROI. + Analyze digital performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness. **Advertising & Promotions** + Plan and execute advertising campaigns across print, digital and outdoor media. + Develop creative concepts and oversee production of marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand standards. + Identify and manage partnerships with luxury brands, airlines, credit card companies and lifestyle entities to enhance visibility and drive business. **Revenue Alignment & Financial Management** + Prepare and manage the annual marketing communications budget in collaboration with the EAM Sales & Marketing. + Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective operations while achieving marketing objectives. + Attend weekly revenue meetings to present marketing performance, campaign results and forward-looking strategies. + Collaborate closely with the Revenue Manager and F&B teams to align marketing initiatives with business needs and yield opportunities. **Corporate Communication & Compliance** + Maintain close communication with **Hyatt Corporate Marketing and Digital teams** to showcase Park Hyatt Bangkok’s work, best practices and innovative campaigns. + Ensure full compliance with all marketing and communications directives rolled out by the **Park Hyatt Global brand team** and **Hyatt Marketing & Digital teams** . + Actively represent the hotel within the corporate network to strengthen visibility and alignment with global initiatives. **Internal Communications & Collaboration** + Work cross-functionally with Sales, F&B, Rooms and Spa teams to support their marketing and communication needs. + Ensure internal stakeholders are informed and aligned on marketing initiatives and brand positioning. + Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration and excellence within the Marketing & Communications team. **Leadership & Team Development** + Lead, mentor and develop a team of 4: + Marcom Manager + Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager + F&B Marketing Manager + Visual Design & Graphics Assistant Manager + Conduct regular performance reviews and training sessions to enhance team capabilities. + Encourage innovation, accountability and continuous improvement within the department **Community & Brand Representation** + Represent Park Hyatt Bangkok at community events, industry forums and brand partnerships. + Build relationships with local government, cultural institutions and business associations to strengthen the hotel’s presence in the community. **Qualifications & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field; Master’s degree preferred. + Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. + Experience in luxury hotels or luxury brands is a must. + Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. + Strong media relations and digital marketing expertise. + Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. + Fluent in English is mandatory;
