What will I be doing?
As the Assistant Director of Finance, you would be responsible for assisting in the direction and administration of all financial operations of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Manage the department to include, but not limited to, managing special projects, monitoring and developing team member performance, providing supervision and professional development, scheduling, conducting counselling and evaluations, delivering recognition and reward, recruiting, interviewing and training team membersDirectly oversee Accounts Receivable, Credit and Night Audit functionsPrepare budget and maintain spending controls to ensure budgetary limits are metPrepare annual depreciation schedules for furniture, equipment, building supplies, revisions and alterationsReview and approve all ledger account reconciliations including, but not limited to, bank statements, assets liabilities and credit cardsCoordinate and review monthly financial statements for accuracy and monitor coding of cash receiptsAssist Director with internal daily audits of cash deposits, transfers and preparation for and monitoring of the capital budgetPrepare financial reports, prepare utilities and telephone accruals, monitor records of inventory and ensure compliance with all established billing and credit standardsReview and approve tax returns to ensure compliance with federal and state regulationsMonitor, approve and prepare daily payroll accounts and issue all paychecksThe salary range for this role is $104,000 - $124,000 based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
