Masters The Illinois State University Athletics Department is committed to academic and athletic excellence as it prepares today's student-athletes to become tomorrow's leaders. This position directly contributes to that mission by coordinating the management of intercollegiate athletic events and facilities. This position is responsible for planning, organizing; staffing, and managing assigned intercollegiate athletic events and activities, and assisting with the administration of Missouri Valley Conference Championships & IHSA State Championship events.

This position is responsible for all aspects of Horton facility operations. This includes day-to-day operations, event scheduling, maintenance requests, and responsible for the safety and security of the facility. This position assists in planning and monitoring of repair, rehab, and maintenance projects.

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality, marketing, public relations, communications, business administration, student affairs, sports management, or a closely related field.
2. One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in Athletic Events and Game Operations at the collegiate level or general knowledge of Athletic Facility Operations
3. Valid driver's license
4. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with a variety of populations.
5. Demonstrated organizational and planning skills
