The Assistant Director for NCAA Compliance, is tasked with providing day-to-day operational needs throughout the UMBC Athletics Compliance Department.

Under the direction of the Associate AD for Compliance, the Assistant Director, Coordinator will assist in all aspects of UMBC’s compliance program, including UMBC, America East Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Specific duties include:

Primary liaison for the Office of Admissions, Student Business Services, and compliance software Primary liaison for Bylaws 11, 13, and 17 Secondary liaison for the Office of the Registrar and Office of Financial Aid Assisting with the creation of student-athlete financial aid documents and National Letters of Intent Monitoring NCAA coaching and personnel limits Assisting with coach, staff, and student-athlete rules education Coordinating all Maryland Public Information Act Requests from the Office of General Counsel and internal audits Assisting with the research and creation of NCAA waivers, violations, and interpretative requests Approving official visits Monitoring roster maintenance within ARMS and Compliance Assistant Creating and maintaining accurate squad lists for each team Performing other duties as assigned

Bachelor's Degree One (1) Year Athletic Department Experience or related field
