Job Title: Assistant Controller Location: Princeton New Jersey, New Jersey Type: Contract Compensation: $65 - $70 hourly Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: M-F Full Time Responsibilities: The Assistant Controller will work closely with the Controller and Director of Financial Reporting to oversee all aspects of general ledger accounting ensuring full compliance with US GAAP, and internal policies. The role will manage treasury and cash operations, coordinate risk management activities, and drive timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. + Treasury & Cash Management + Manage corporate cash flow, liquidity forecasting, and working capital strategies. + Implement and manage treasury controls, cash management systems, and optimization strategies. + Risk Management + Identify financial risks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement mitigation strategies. + Oversee insurance coverage, including D&O, product liability, and business interruption. + Coordinate with legal, operations, and compliance teams to ensure financial risk exposure is minimized. + Financial Close & Internal Reporting + Oversee all bookkeeping and accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger. + Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Operational Finance to deliver timely and accurate results. + Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies. + Process Improvement + Establish best practices in reporting processes, tools, and systems to drive efficiency and accuracy. + Act as a key thought partner to the Controller and CFO on financial strategy, capital structure, and compliance. + Other projects as assigned.
