Description We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Assistant Controller to join our accounting team in Marlborough, Massachusetts. As a key contributor to the financial operations of the company, you will collaborate closely with the Controller to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of accounting processes. For Immediate Interview please contact Victor Muller at 508- 205 2136 Responsibilities: • Supervise daily operations of a small accounting team to maintain smooth workflow. • Oversee the management and integrity of operational data, ensuring accuracy and consistency. • Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with company standards. • Develop and maintain various financial schedules to support organizational needs. • Conduct weekly and monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy. • Assist in the month-end close process, including reporting and filing requirements. • Collaborate on billing and cash flow forecasting to support financial planning. • Generate detailed management reports and insights for decision-making purposes. • Support the accounting team in meeting deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders. • Contribute to maintaining high standards of financial practices within the organization. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business. • At least five years of full-cycle accounting experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. • Experience with Sage 300/Timberline software is advantageous. • Background in the construction industry is preferred but not required. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and commitment to continuous learning. • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
