What You'll Do

Manage inventory and cost accounting, including valuation, reconciliations, and margin reporting.

Maintain accurate inventory records for copper raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across multiple facilities.

Analyze inventory variances and provide actionable insights for operations and finance leadership.

Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure data integrity, costing accuracy, and internal control compliance.

Support physical inventory counts, reconciliation, and related financial reporting.

Partner with the Controller to ensure proper accounting for inventory and COGS.

Serve as a key liaison for ERP system implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365), supporting enhancements and reporting requirements.

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and corporate policies.

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and support schedules.

Support the month-end close process for timeliness and accuracy.

Assist with corporate internal audits and resolve audit requests.

Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and capital project accounting.

Document accounting policies and procedures and assist with compliance monitoring.

Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen efficiency and internal controls.

Assist with special projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

Partner with the Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Provide financial insight to operations leadership to drive cost optimization and business performance.

What You'll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).

6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Strong expertise in inventory and cost accounting.

ERP system experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly preferred.

Advanced Excel skills; Power BI or other reporting tools a plus.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Ability to adapt, collaborate across functions, and take on broader responsibilities as the business evolves.

Pay Range:

76,000.00 - 114,000.00
