Our client, an international company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Controller due to growth! The Assistant Controller is responsible for managing the general ledger, overseeing monthly financial reporting, supporting the budgeting process, and leading the accounting team. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and review monthly financial reports. + Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data. + Assist in the development and coordination of the annual budget process. + Analyze financial statements and variances to provide insights and recommendations. + Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP. + Prepare and monitor cash flow projections. + Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis. + Lead, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team. + Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate financial reporting Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience. + Previous supervisory experience is REQUIRED! Must be able to lead, develop/mentor the accounting staff. + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). + Experience with ERP systems is required. + Power BI or other business intelligence tool experience is a plus. + Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
