Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounts to support timely and complete financial reporting.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Analyze financial results, identify variances from budget, and recommend corrective actions.Support the preparation of audited financial statements and coordinate audit activities.Supervise daily operations of the Finance Department, including oversight of Accounts Payable.Conduct quarterly performance and development conversations with team members.Approve high-value customer credits and review construction-related financial documents (e.g., AIA billings, lien releases).Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and maximize available discounts.Oversee compliance with all local, state, and federal tax obligations.Maintain fixed asset and lease schedules, manage lease setups and renewals, and prepare property tax filings.Ensure timely completion of bank reconciliations.Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.Lead or support sales tax audits and assist in the annual budgeting process.Respond promptly to CFO requests and contribute to special projects and reports.Collaborate cross-functionally with project and operational teams to support business goals.What You BringStrong leadership and analytical skills with a high level of integrity and discretion.Proven experience in financial reporting, audits, and general ledger oversight.Ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and align initiatives with company goals.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including AP/AR and general ledger management.Solid understanding of GAAP, financial statement preparation, and audit processes.Preferred QualificationsCPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.Demonstrated success in process improvement and financial systems optimization.Experience with construction accounting and AIA billing is a plus.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a professional office setting with opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and leadership development.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
