Description Key Responsibilities: + Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, job cost, etc.) + Maintain accurate financial records and produce monthly financials + Manage WIP schedules and support project managers with cost tracking and forecasting + Conduct monthly and year-end closing with efficiency + Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls + Interface with external CPAs, banks, bonding agents, and insurance + Supervise and develop a team of accounting professionals, ensuring continuous growth and development + Recommend and implement process improvements and system upgrades Requirements Requirements: + 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in construction + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CPA a plus) + Strong grasp of job cost accounting, WIP, and % of completion methods + Proficiency in construction accounting software (e.g. Viewpoint-Vista, HCSS, etc.) + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment + Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills. + Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
