Assistant Community Manager

An Assistant Community Association Manager (Assistant CAM) serves as the Assistant to the Community Association Manager (CAM) of the Homeowners Association (HOA). The Assistant CAM assists the CAM oversee all aspects of the HOA operations including relationships between the community and its members, guests, residents, and employees. The Assistant CAM works directly with Community Association Manager to provide the unparalleled service and the ultimate lifestyle experience for our members.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and genuine service to all residents, members, guests and employees.
• Motivates, directs, and assists department heads, managers and front line staff on a daily basis
• Carries out plans and implements operational procedures and methods in concert with TROON practices and policies.
• Ensures that goals and objectives of the CAM are implemented on a continuous basis to meet the expectations of the residents, membership, Board of Directors, and Management
• Monitors quality services to ensure maximum member and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in directing and coordinating the activities of contracted vendors and evaluate their performance.
• Assist in creating and directing community activities and events for residents.
• Excellent knowledge of the application Canva to create monthly calendars, E-blasts, and flyers for the community.
• Investigate complaints, disturbances, and resolve problems by following the rules and regulations of the community declaration.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating of general maintenance, major repairs, and construction projects as directed.
• Confer regularly with community association members to ensure their needs are being met.
• Provide general assistance to the CAM on various tasks ensuring the community runs smoothly and successfully.

Education/Certifications/Licenses/Training:


Community Association Manager (CAM) License required or in process of obtaining. High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must obtain any required local and state licenses or certifications.


Experience/Background/Knowledge:
Previous experience in association operations required.


Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with other members, guests and employees in one-on-one and small group situations in a fast paced environment. Ability to create and disseminate written correspondence. Must be computer literate.


Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands and arms, and climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. At times, may be required to operate a motor vehicle.
