4 openings available. The Graduate Program in Higher Education Leadership is offering graduate assistantships on the Messiah University campus in Pennsylvania beginning with the Fall 2026 academic year. Graduate assistants will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working on a university campus while pursuing a master’s degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership or in Higher Education Leadership through Messiah University.

Numerous coaching and support positions are available including Men’s Basketball, Men’s Lacrosse, Athletics Marketing/Game Day Promotions, and Intramural Sports/Open Gym.

These are two-year, 20 hours/week, appointments not to exceed 800 hours/year. Commitment runs from approximately August 1st – May 15th each of the two years. Education required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; acceptance into one of the graduate degrees in Higher Education Leadership (either the Master of Arts in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership or the Master of Arts in Higher Education Leadership). Special working conditions: Occasional weekend and evening hours as priorities demand. Christian faith commitment required.
