Position Summary RPI Athletics is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field. This seasonal, fixed-term position supports the Head Coach in all aspects of a comprehensive NCAA Division III program, with opportunities to make a direct impact on student-athletes’ growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with training sessions, practices, and competition preparation.

Provide event-specific coaching and mentorship.

Support recruiting efforts and talent identification.

Contribute to program administration and daily operations.

Foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and student development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

At least 1 year of related coaching or competitive experience.

Knowledge of NCAA regulations and recruiting processes.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to travel occasionally.

Pre-employment physical required.
