Assistant Closing Manager-Mortgage

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an Assistant Closing Manager-MTG. The right candidate will support Closing Management by monitoring pipeline for the Closing Center. Respond to questions from the loan closers and ensure policies and procedures are followed. Serve as the point of contact for the branches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure funding of loans in a timely manner Ensure loan closer pipelines move at required pace Monitor team performance to ensure quality files and identify training needs Assist with recruiting, training and hiring new employees Assist in test case review for new employees as needed Review and approval of Trust and Power of Attorney documentation as needed Assist branch with closing related questions Serve as back-up for Closing Manager / Regional Closing Manager Reconcile outstanding servicing / post-closing issues Ensure the accuracy and compliance of closing mortgage files and documentation in accordance with investor lending guidelines and state and federal regulations Monitor reports to manage closing timelines Close Super Jumbo and Management loans as needed Assist with training as needed Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Ability to travel overnight

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises 2 or more employees
