The Assistant Brand Manager is an advocate for the Mass Market Cigar brands. This position assists the Brand Team in the development, execution and tracking performance of overall marketing programs for both existing brands and new products. This role will assist in coordinating the development of Marketing and Sales objectives, strategies and promotional programs.
Your ‘day to day’:
Assists in direct market development, sales promotion, distribution, advertising and pricing strategies.Works closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing in the execution of approved marketing programs.Maintain up-to-date records of:Budgets and expenditures vs. plan and forecasts by projectStatus of product/consumer research programs for assigned brandsSales and market share data by national/sales region/market and test areaCost center budget reportsAssists in the preparation of special projects as assigned by the Marketing Manager.Assists in preparation and analysis of Marketing Research projects that are product, sales and consumer related.Analyzes market trends and potentials.Assists in developing POS materials and coordinates development with outside suppliers.Assists in the development of Packaging Materials both open stock and promotional.Works closely with the CRM manager to ensure correct execution of campaigns and ROI evaluation.
Who we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent. MBA strongly preferred.2-4 years of experience in Marketing or Sales Promotion Activities in Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.Ability to perform under pressure. Intelligence, highly self-motivated, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work with and through other people. Analytical ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative research data. Well-developed communication skills (oral, written, computer - excel, PowerPoint.)
Annual Base Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000
