As an Assistant Branch Manager at QXO, you’ll support daily operations, lead the team, and ensure safety and service excellence. What you'll do: Assume branch manager responsibilities in their absence, ensuring smooth daily operations Champion a safety-oriented culture by ensuring all employees understand and strictly follow safety protocols Ensure compliance with audit procedures and regulations, including daily cash drawer maintenance and financial accounting Optimize warehouse and store layout for efficiency, and schedule equipment maintenance as needed Create and update schedules; review and approve employee hours Provide training and support to all branch employees, fostering a customer-centric approach and exceeding service expectations What you'll bring: Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school (relevant experience may be substituted) Previous operational experience, preferably in building materials, construction, or a related industry Experience supervising and leading teams Knowledge and experience in exterior logistics Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, personal growth, and a strong work ethic What you'll earn RRSP program Bonus eligibility Health and dental benefits Paid leave Paid training and certifications Employee assistance program (EAP) QXO is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
