What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Banqueting Manager, you will be responsible for managing all banquets and events in the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. An Assistant Banqueting Manager will also be required to optimise sales and ensure staffing levels meet demand. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nManage & support all Banquets/Events\nLead in the absence of the Banqueting Manager\nMaintain exceptional levels of customer service\nEvaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement\nPropose ideas to build the range and quality of Conference and Banquet\nOptimise sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action\nMaintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers\nEnsure staffing levels meet business demands\nEnsure training is carried out on an ongoing basis\nEnsure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated\nManage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures\nRecruit, manage, train and develop the Banquet team\nComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation\nWhat are we looking for?

\n\nStrong knowledge of hotel/leisure/service sector\nRecord of success in Conference and Beverage, specifically the ability to deliver profit, control costs, and build customer loyalty\nExceptional communication skills\nExceptional leadership skills\nConference and Banquet Operations experience in a Supervisory or Assistant position in hotel/Events Centre\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
\n\nDegree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent\nPassion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service\n\n
