The David Eccles School of Business’s Department of Operations and Information
Systems at the University of Utah seeks to fill two open rank tenure-track faculty positions
beginning July 1, 2026. We seek candidates with outstanding research potential and accomplishments. A Ph.D. in Business, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines is required by Fall 2026. Candidates at all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be expected to produce high-quality research and teach effectively in the area of Operations and Supply Chain. Candidates publishing in the top INFORMS journals are encouraged to apply. We will also consider candidates who publish in the best outlets in affiliated fields and show strong potential to transition to business academia.
