$45-50,000 for Assistant/Associate (Full-Time) Up to $20,000 for Part-Time/Per Diem Associate/Assistant Athletic TrainerBethany College, an NCAA Division III institution, is seeking applicants for an Associate/Assistant Athletic Trainer, pending qualifications. This position is responsible for support of the department’s athletic health care administration that includes the development, coordination, and delivery of professional and administrative services essential to the successful implementation of a comprehensive sports medicice program. Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, supervise graduate assistant staff and student assistants is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES •Serve as a clinician in the prevention, evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses to Bethany College student-athletes. •Responsible for the coordination and coverage of athletic training services for assigned sport(s). •Maintain working relationship with our health care partner Wheeling Hospital - a division of WVU Medicine. •Assist in the supervision of athletic training staff including recruitment, hiring, training and performance management of part time and student staff. •Interface with coaches and staff regarding sick or injured student-athletes. •Maintaining medical records on student-athletes, utilizing injury tracking software, to include physical exams, insurance information, injury evaluation and rehabilitation reports. •Assist in the creation and execution of new of established protocols and procedures to ensure a safe competitive environment. •Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer, Director of Athletics or President of the College. •Qualified candidates may be considered for academic involvement.
Part-Time/Per Diem Athletic Trainer
Bethany College, an NCAA Division III institution, is seeking applicants for a part-time/per diem certified athletic trainer. This position is responsible for support of the department’s athletic health care administration that includes the development, coordination, and delivery of professional and administrative services essential to the successful implementation of a comprehensive sports medicice program. Under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, this position will be based on per diem needs of the year. Opportunity for consistent, part-time hours could be made available. Sport coverage would vary based upon the needs of the department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree Certified through the Board of Certification Eligible for licensure, or currently licensed, as an Athletic Trainer in the state of West Virginia Excellent interpersonal skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in associated field Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany College, NCAA Division III, and President’s Athletic Conference rules and regulationsReview of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
