We are seeking an Assistant Group Accountant to join our Group Finance team on a 6 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a large, forward-thinking organisation with a full agenda for change.
Reporting to the Head of Group Financial Reporting and Control, you’ll play a key role in both financial reporting and strategic analysis. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing quarterly financial consolidation and management information packs. Assisting with year-end consolidation and statutory accounts. Supporting the development of insightful metrics to drive business performance. Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts and supporting Group Treasury. Monthly reporting to the Group Executive Board and Holdings Board. Collaborating with Business Finance Managers to drive improvements across the group. The Ideal Candidate

As a valued member of our team, you will bring the following skills and experience: - Be ACA or ACCA qualified. Have experience with FRS102 and statutory accounts preparation. Be confident in preparing and reviewing cash flow forecasts and financial accounts. Demonstrate strong Excel skills (IRIS or TM1 knowledge is a plus). Be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across the Group.
