We are currently seeking a highly motivated Assistant Account Manager to support a dedicated client site in Washington, DC. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day oversight of a large-scale operation, managing 150 employees and approximately 5,200 hours per week (HPW) for one specific global client.
Working the 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM shift, this leader will support scheduling, compliance, service delivery, and personnel management—using Oracle Workforce Management (WFM) to ensure coverage and operational efficiency. The Assistant Account Manager works in close collaboration with the Account Manager, client representatives, and internal teams to uphold performance standards and support organizational success.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Assist in the management of a dedicated client site running 5,200 HPW and employing 150 security professionals.
+ Maintain operational oversight during the afternoon/evening shift (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
+ Manage scheduling and workforce adjustments using Oracle Workforce Management (WFM) to ensure proper coverage and cost control.
+ Serve as a key point of contact for client communications and internal coordination during your shift.
+ Monitor and support team performance through regular coaching, mentorship, and corrective actions as needed.
+ Implement initiatives focused on employee retention and engagement, including recognition programs, consistent communication, and proactive problem resolution.
+ Collaborate with leadership to identify and address root causes of turnover and to develop a stable, committed workforce.
+ Partner with HR to support onboarding, employee relations, and compliance with Securitas policies and applicable laws.
+ Review and ensure timely completion of daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
+ Foster a positive team culture focused on accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
+ Support the implementation of client-specific security initiatives and process enhancements.
+ Respond promptly and professionally to operational issues or incidents.
**Qualifications**
+ Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role, ideally in security or operations management.
+ Proven ability to manage large-scale teams (100+ employees) in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
+ Experience with scheduling platforms; Oracle WFM experience is strongly preferred.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, coach, and influence teams.
+ High level of professionalism, dependability, and adaptability.
+ Ability to work independently and in partnership with the Account Manager.
+ Flexible and available to support emergencies or off-hour requests as needed.
**Compensation & Benefits**
