About the role
Boots Opticians have an exciting opportunity to join our Customer Operations team as a Supply Coordinator. This permanent role coordinates, controls and implements a number of key activities within the Boots Opticians Customer Operations team based in the Nottingham Support Office.
Reporting to the Supply Manager the Supply Coordinator role is focused on cost saving, store service and support, reporting, and invoice administration. The role has individual accountabilities and provides support for the wider Customer Operations team.
Key responsibilities
Operate the Supply Chain store helpdesk. Coordinate the investigation and resolution of Store/Area Manager queries
Support store planogram and range changes
Support the customer team with operational activity and analysis
Purchase order and invoice administration for supply chain partners, inclusive or managing supplier cost recovery activity and administration of payment processes to pay suppliers for services provided
What you'll need to have
Organisation– the role requires good organisation skills to organise workload and meet deadlines, with an attention to detail
Communication – this role will work with stakeholders in the support office and stores, as well as with supply chain partners. The individual needs to communicate issues to support robust resolution.
Investigation – a key part of the role is resolving issues for stores and customers, which requires an ability to understand the root causes of issues and provide sustainable solutions
Competence with key Microsoft packages / adaptability to learn new systems – the role will need to understand a breadth of systems and access information from across the supply chain to support query resolution.
