We are seeking a highly strategic, execution-oriented Chief of Staff to support a large-scale transformation program within Wealth Management Operations. This role acts as a force multiplier for the program leader—driving alignment, governance, execution discipline, and communication across business, operations, technology, risk, and external partners.
The ideal candidate combines consulting-level problem solving with operational know-how in wealth management, strong stakeholder influence skills, and the ability to turn strategy into measurable outcomes
Key Responsibilities
Program Strategy & Execution
Partner with the Transformation Executive to define, refine, and execute the program roadmapTranslate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear milestones and success metricsMonitor progress across multiple workstreams and proactively resolve risks and blockersEnsure alignment with enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and operational objectivesGovernance & Operating Rhythm
Establish decision frameworks, escalation paths, and accountability structuresMaintain program dashboards, KPIs, status reporting, and executive materialsDrive disciplined execution and transparency across stakeholdersCross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the central coordination point across Operations, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Business leadersBreak down silos and ensure dependencies are managed effectivelyFacilitate workshops, planning sessions, and alignment meetingsChange Management & Adoption
Support organizational readiness and change initiativesPartner with HR and Communications on adoption strategiesHelp embed new operating models, processes, and ways of workingRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred8 – 12 years of experience in management consulting, financial services, or transformation rolesStrong knowledge of Wealth Management and/or Financial Services OperationsProven experience supporting senior executives or leading complex programsDemonstrated ability to influence without direct authorityExceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and program reporting toolsABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
