The Specialist will be critical to the success of the most complex and important business unit at lululemon. The specialist will be instrumental in protecting our people across our Korea market, maintain a secure and compliant environment for our guests both in store and at events, all whilst ensuring the necessary health standards are being designed and implemented as per local market regulatory needs. Acting as a trusted leader and subject matter expert, the role will ensure the business and it's employees meet our goal of being the safest place to work in the retail sector. The Specialist will also act as a leader in market in response to any health hazards that have a potential to impact the health of our people or our business as well as implement strategies to minimise any risk as well as lead all in market investigations that fall within the departments responsibility. The specialist will support asset protection teams throughout APAC with protecting our people and property in assigned areas, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, while educating store teams and partners (in collaboration with Asset Protection & People Safety Compliance Manager).
A day in the life Responsibility to ensure Korean Occupational Health and Safety Management System is established and implemented Be the ambassador for all things Asset Protection and Health & Safety whilst develop a strong culture of ethics, integrity and personal responsibility in the retail businessSupport and cooperate with Asset Protection & People Safety Compliance Manager in performing any safety duties Investigate and analyze the causes of industrial accidents, and technically assist and guide to prevent their recurrenceMaintain, Escalate and Analyze statistics on industrial accidentsMeasures to prevent injuries or diseasesRecuperation guidance and management for those found to have health trouble after a health examinationImplement health-related matters as specified by law or by any order issued under the lawConduct an investigation of musculoskeletal hazard factors and implement campaigns for the prevention of related disordersSupport the design and deliver safety & well-being standards for all store types, as well as enrolling partners to incorporate a safety by design mindset across all areas including new store openingsEstablish relationships with key stakeholders across the business, identify areas of opportunity and implement strategies to reduce riskCollaborate with other stakeholders and cross-functional partners to ensure occupational health & safety compliance needs are met Be required to update and support the Asset Protection & People Safety Compliance Manager on work plans and implementation Domestic travel Is required as part of the role
