Are you passionate about strategic planning and asset optimization in the upstream Oil & Gas industry? We are looking for an experienced Asset Planner to support the long-term planning and performance of Kenyalang assets (SK301B and SK313), ensuring alignment with Group objectives and JV priorities.

Your Impact

As a key contributor within the Assets, Subsurface & Planning team, you will:

Develop and maintain the annual Work Plan & Budget (WP&B) for Kenyalang assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and JV requirements.Prepare cost submissions and financial profiles for HQ and PETRONAS MPM, supporting transparent and accurate reporting.Coordinate the design of the 1–5-year asset strategy, integrating input from Operations, HSSE, Commercial, and Finance teams.Facilitate stakeholder engagement with PETRONAS MPM and internal teams to secure approvals and ensure clarity on WP&B execution.Provide strategic insights to support operational decision-making and maximize asset value. What We Are Looking For

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

A university degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field.7+ years of experience in upstream Oil & Gas, with at least 5 years in asset management, planning, and portfolio optimization.Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, PSC agreements, and JV governance.Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting, with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SAP (or equivalent).Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
