Description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our commercial property portfolio. This role focuses on maintaining high operational standards, fostering strong tenant relationships, and achieving financial performance goals. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values collaboration with tenants, vendors, clients, and investors.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversee daily operations and maintenance of retail and commercial properties, ensuring optimal functionality and tenant satisfaction.
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing concerns promptly and managing rent collections effectively.
+ Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, manage capital improvement and construction projects, and ensure quality standards are met.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, lenders, and investors, providing regular updates and aligning asset performance with financial objectives.
+ Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery.
+ Prepare and manage annual budgets, oversee CAM (Common Area Maintenance) and operating expense reconciliations, and generate accurate financial reports.
+ Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improving property performance and profitability.
+ Lead tenant retention initiatives by addressing needs, ensuring a smooth leasing experience, and cultivating long-term tenant satisfaction.
+ Collaborate closely with internal departments and stakeholders to align property strategies with broader organizational goals.
Requirements
• Experience in commercial property or asset management; related experience in transferable fields will also be considered.
• Familiarity with Yardi software is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with ambition and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
• Strong financial management and analytical skills, including budgeting and expense reconciliation.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.
• A collaborative team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to take on diverse tasks.
