Contract Opportunity: Pressure Equipment Technologist – Lloydminster or Bonnyville
Join a dynamic Asset Integrity team focused on delivering high-performance inspection, repair, and corrosion management programs across pipelines, pressure equipment, tanks, and structural assets. This contract role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of integrity technologies and close collaboration with Safety, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Role Overview: As a Pressure Equipment Technologist, you’ll coordinate Pressure Equipment and Tank Integrity Programs within the Lloydminster operations district. You’ll work closely with Operations and Maintenance to support field implementation of the Owner-User Program and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute all aspects of the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management System (PEIMS) and Tank Integrity Management System (TIMS) within your assigned area
Align with Field Operations to plan turnarounds and ensure timely inspections and servicing of pressure vessels, tanks, and PSVs
Coordinate inspections, coating, and repair activities for vessels and tanks
Review inspection reports and determine appropriate integrity strategies (e.g., repair, alteration, interval adjustments)
Identify and implement interval revisions using Small Facility RBI methodology
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in asset integrity management, materials, or corrosion disciplines
Engineering degree or technologist diploma
API 510 and/or ABSA In-Service Pressure Vessel Inspection certification (or working toward)
