**An Asset Care Analyst within the Facilities Management industry focuses on optimizing the reliability, performance, and lifespan of a facility's physical assets. This role is distinct from, yet closely related to, a CMMS Analyst or a general Facilities Manager. While a CMMS Analyst primarily works with the software system, and a Facilities Manager has a broader scope covering overall facility operations, an Asset Care Analyst specializes in the strategic management of the assets themselves.**
**The purpose of this position is to lead all aspects of asset performance assessment and focuses on optimizing the reliability, performance and lifespan of the client’s physical assets to ensure maximum asset up-time to reduce the impact to the client’s productivity output, and to assist the client with associated mid / long term capital planning activities. In addition to specializing in the strategic management of the assets, the Technical Analyst will be responsible for data integrity and support the applications training.**
**What You Will Do:**
• Manage assets (acquisition to disposal); track metrics.
• Assist in developing/implementing/optimizing programs; enable proactive repairs.
• Review/report performance; identify improvements; inform decisions.
• Conduct total-cost-of-ownership analysis; reduce costs, increase longevity.
• Assess and mitigate risks; ensure compliance.
• Work with CMMS, IoT, BI; support system integration.
• Work with teams and stakeholders to implement best practices.
• Guide technology utilization.
• Facilitate status reviews; ensure schedule adherence; resolve/escalate issues.
• Work with partners to enhance asset data; support data standards.
• Oversee operations, implementation, data integrity, training, and ongoing care.
• Act as primary liaison for Asset Insight; manage system upgrades.
• Train staff/clients on CBRE asset data collection technology.
• Ensure data integrity and quality control of the Asset Insight database.
• Design business metrics for accountability (e.g., performance tracking).
• Generate, review, and understand reports; provide recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries; escalate as needed.
• Gather and summarize data to facilitate review and decision-making.
• Provide routine status reports and project summaries.
**What You Will Need:**
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of, and proficiency in, CMMS; 2+ years proven user/system administrator experience.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret asset performance data, energy usage, and financial reports. Technical expertise in building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and asset management software proficiency are required. Problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on sustainability are crucial.
• Fluent English (additional knowledge of French/German will be an asset).
• Decisions based on a detailed understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting work unit and/or project timelines.
• Experience in the FM industry is highly desired.
