General mechanical assembly using hand and power tools.

Work hours generally 8am-4:30pm but when they are busy... hours are 7:30-5
... Responsibilities:

 Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and part lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassembly. Verify specifications by measuring completed component Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer???s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:
--Ability to use standard and electrical hand tools.
--Ability to read and understand diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
--Ability to install components, units, or subassemblies using power tools and related assembly equipment
--Ability to properly lift/carry/push/pull/manipulate/transport up to 30-50 lbs.
--Ability to work with minimal supervision in a teamwork environment
--Mechanical assembly experience a plus!

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
 Minimum of 1-year prior experience in an Assembler/Production role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

MUST PASS A 7 YEAR CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK

All positions require safety steel toed shoes!
