**Job Title: Assembly Technician - Defense** **Job Description** We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team in producing cutting-edge stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and military helicopters. In this role, you will perform sheet metal and composite assembly, ensuring the highest standards in aircraft production. **Responsibilities** + Perform sheet metal and composite assembly for the production of stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and military helicopters. + Complete riveting, drilling, and countersinking to install components and fasteners for the fuselage. + Seal aircraft structures and components effectively. + Self-inspect components and assemblies, including frames and skins, and perform rework when necessary. + Other duties may be assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in assembly, production, drilling, riveting, countersinking, sheet metal, and composite aircraft assembly. + Proficiency in hole layout, drilling, riveting, and countersinking. + Active Secret Clearance with status check. + 2+ years of aircraft structures experience. + Experience with sheet metal and composite drilling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred: 4+ years of aircraft structures experience. + Experience in sealing, fuel cell, and sheet metal repair. + Flexibility in shift work (primarily 1st or 2nd, but must be open to any shift). + Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including some weekends. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to maintain your security clearance while working on the development of some of the military's newest aircraft.
