**Job Title: Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for building custom automotive parts for drag racing cars from scratch. This role involves running machines, cutting, fitting, and building automotive parts based on blueprints and sometimes hand drawings. The primary focus will be on full-scale transmission builds. This position requires a blend of mechanical aptitude, finesse, and fine-tuning processes. The technician must have a strong understanding of assembly and automobiles to enhance the quality and functionality of products. A variety of machines and power tools will be used to complete tasks.
**Shift and Pay**
First Shift
Pay: $18-$24/hr based on experience
**Responsibilities**
+ Build custom automotive parts for drag racing cars from scratch.
+ Run machines, cut parts, fit parts, and build automotive parts based on blueprints and hand drawings.
+ Focus on full-scale transmission builds.
+ Utilize mechanical aptitude and fine-tuning processes to improve product quality and functionality.
+ Operate a variety of machines and power tools.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of experience in custom auto building or technical mechanical assembly.
+ Strong blueprint reading skills.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Experience in machine operating and basic welding skills.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
