Job Description
We are seeking a higher-level Assembly Technician to join our team in manufacturing wafers and sensors for the semiconductor industry. This position offers a diverse range of job duties, requiring comfort and flexibility in performing different tasks daily.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble small wafer and sensor components, using a microscope for 30%-50% of the day.Inspect chips and sensors with tweezers and assist in writing First Articles.Conduct in-process and final inspections of components under microscope and vision scope.Perform wire bonding, packaging, documentation, and preparation for shipping.Operate within a cleanroom environment as needed.Utilize computer systems for work orders and documentation.Essential Skills2+ years in micro assembly (medical, electronic, or semiconductor).Proficiency in computer skills, including spreadsheets and online process sheets.Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.Experience in writing processes and performing documentation in online systems.Experience in multiple assembly processes.
Additional Skills & QualificationsWire Bond experience.Lead or Trainer experience.Quality Inspection experience, including first articles, in-process, and final inspections.Technician or process level experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized environment with a culture that values initiative and ownership. The facility includes machine shop, cleanroom, lab, and general assembly areas, all maintained clean and quiet. Shift hours are 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime. The position starts part-time (20-30 hours per week) for 1-4 months, transitioning to full-time. Flexible hours are available, with preference for a consistent schedule.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
