**Job Title: Assembly Prototype Technician**
**Job Description**
The Prototype Technician is responsible for building, assembling, and troubleshooting HVAC machinery and equipment in the Prototype shop. This role involves reading engineering drawings, constructing mobile HVAC units from scratch, and documenting processes before the product proceeds to production. Key tasks include mechanical assembly, brazing, HVAC unit testing, electrical assembly, and electrical testing.
**Shift:**
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm. Some OT voluntary on Fridays, usually 6am to 12 noon.

**Responsibilities**
+ Build and assemble HVAC machinery and equipment in the prototype shop.
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
+ Construct mobile HVAC units from scratch.
+ Document processes before transitioning products to production.
+ Perform mechanical assembly, brazing, and HVAC unit testing.
+ Conduct electrical assembly and testing.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
