FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry. **Job Description** We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented **Assembly Team Lead** to support and coordinate daily operations of our Assembly Line during the first shift. Reporting to the Area Supervisor, you will lead a team of associates, ensure adherence to quality standards, and maintain efficiency across processes. Your expertise will play a key role in training new team members and maintaining operational excellence through lean manufacturing principles. + Collaborate with the Area Supervisor to manage and prioritize daily assembly line activities. + Be proficient in all departmental processes; act as a trainer and mentor for new hires and cross-training initiatives. + Implement and promote BPS (Business Process Standards) principles for continuous improvement and process optimization. + Ensure timely delivery of components and finished units to meet production schedules. + Read and interpret work instructions, product drawings, and special handling sheets (SHS). + Use manual/power tools and measuring devices to assemble appliances and perform functional tests. + Inspect finished products for quality, identify defects, and manage non-conforming materials appropriately. + Rework units as needed to meet quality standards. + Support a safe and organized work environment through adherence to best practices in material handling **Qualifications** + **Required:** High School Diploma or equivalent. + Manufacturing experience in assembly and/or CNC machine operation preferred. + Must be able to coordinate tasks of others (10–15 people). + Must be able to speak, read, and write English. + Must be able to work overtime when requested. + Must be flexible to work in other departments when requested. + Ability to read and apply work instructions, follow directions, and understand and execute safety and quality procedures. **Additional Information** All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. **Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans.**
