Concorde Battery Corporation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join our Quality Department as an Assembly Quality Control Inspector. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in Quality Control. The Assembly Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role is an integral part of the Quality Assurance (QA) team and will also support general quality-related tasks as assigned. The position reports directly to the Quality Production Supervisor and offers a solid foundation for career growth in quality assurance and manufacturing. Position Responsibilities: + Perform inspection of materials, processes and final product, per business need (manual instruments/CMM). + Inspects battery grids for compliance to specifications in a metal casting environment. + Performs inspection of battery subassemblies and assemblies. + Generates inspection reports according to AS9100 requirements. + Enters inspection data into information systems. + Utilizes inspection tools including calipers, gauges and testing equipment. + Reads and interprets drawings, procedures and work instructions. + Identifies areas for improvement in inspection processes and coordinates implementation. + Comply with all safety requirements; participate in safety training/practices.
