Danfoss Power Solutions, a.s., Považská Bystrica, Industrial division, is seeking an Assembly Process Engineer to support the ramp-up for serial production as well as establishment of the assembly and testing processes for new projects. This role will be crucial to the company's future growth. Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Define, maintain, and continuously improve the product assembly and end-of-line (EOL) testing processes Lead the upgrade and continuous improvement of the assembly line and EOL test stands, focusing on components, Poke Yoke, takt time, safety, test plans, etc. Prepare and manage data in MES, SAP, and other internal systems. Maintain shop floor layout and process organization to optimize efficiency and eliminate waste Support development engineers in implementing advanced engineering techniques, such as Design for Assembly etc. Establish and maintain assembly and EOL testing procedures; introduce new products to the system (e.g., SOPs) Develop Virtual operator guidance platform programs Create and maintain process documentation (e.g., process flows, PFMEA, control plans) for both ongoing and new projects Maintain technical documentation for the assembly line and EOL test stand Provide operator training Monitor and improve process capability Serve as a resource for root cause analysis, investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning and implementation. The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
Bachelor`s degree or higher in Engineering, Mechanical, Automation & Hydraulic related background Experience in industrial automation Familiarity with PLC is a plus Basic understanding of hydraulic systems Experience with assembly process principles and assembly line balancing Proficiency in SAP and PLM systems is an advantage Ability to apply creative problem-solving approaches, maximising the effective use of available resources Very good communication skills in Slovak & English Employee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:
