Meanwhile, you'll have the support and resources of the fastest-growing brand in the construction industry to make it happen. Learn more about our story HERE (http://www.milwaukeetool.jobs/Working-At-Milwaukee) . **Your Role:** As an Assembly Operator you will assemble parts in an assigned area until final product is complete. **Shift Hours:** 12-hour shifts from 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM CST **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Read and follow the SOP at each designated station within an Assembly cell. + Quality-check each piece produces against set aesthetic standards. + Keep designated station full of needed parts for job assigned. + Learn job duties at multiple stations within assigned cell. + Flexibility to rotate from one assigned cell or manufacturing facilities to another based on production needs. + Keep work area clean with expected housekeeping. + Work unsupervised and handle multiple tasks. + All other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** REQUIRED: + Moderate proficiency in English + Standing for long periods of time + Able to read SOP in English PREFERRED: + High School Diploma or GED + Previous manufacturing experience + High level of manual dexterity **Working conditions:** Position is located at our Cookeville, TN or Algood, TN manufacturing facility. This facility is heated and cooled. Employee will be working with and near moving mechanical parts. **Physical requirements:** Candidate must be able to identify and distinguish colors, stand for long periods of time, lift/carry up to 35 lbs., reach hands and arms in any directions and kneel/stoop repeatedly Frequent use of drill drivers is required in Assembly process. A drug screen is required prior to employment.
