Job Description
Join a leading global technology company renowned for its expertise in energy, paper, raw materials, transport, and automotive markets. As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for completing scheduled and routine maintenance tasks, including preventative and predictive maintenance, diagnosing failures in rotating assemblies, and writing detailed reports. Your role will also involve assembling machines and rotating assemblies once parts are restored to OEM condition.
ResponsibilitiesComplete scheduled and routine maintenance work.Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.Diagnose failures in rotating assemblies and write detailed reports.Assemble machines and rotating assemblies once parts are restored to OEM condition.Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.Measure bearing clearance and shaft diameters using inside/outside micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.Dismantle machines as needed.Move and align machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.Utilize hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools effectively.Operate cranes and forklifts.Use large bearing pullers, torches, and perform light TIG welding.Install machinery, both new and existing equipment, at mill sites if needed.Troubleshoot equipment reliability issues.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.Experience in mechanical assembly and repairs.Welding skills, particularly TIG welding.Ability to measure bearing clearance and shaft diameters accurately.Experience with machine alignment and installation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with industrial mechanical repairs.Ability to operate cranes and forklifts.Knowledge of using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
