Position Overview
As an Assembly Board Engineer, you will be responsible to define the plant's equipment & tooling needs, to support engineering changes and new projects, and ensure the acquisition, installation, and validation of Assembly tooling & equipment according to the start-up schedule as you will be in charge for thevarious accountabilities mentioned below.
Key Missions :
Lead the team in the installation, validation, and continuous improvement actions on the components (Quality, volume, cost) of the assembly line equipment. Ensure the Equipment ordering and supplier's management. Ensure the Transfer of Equipment between Lear’s plants in good working order. Contribute to the development of equipment and tools related to the manufacturing process. Manage and improve the plant layout (GF, BF and PEC) to ensure an optimal production flow. Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement strategies. Ensure the application of standards and internal procedures and industry standards. comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations in accordance with standards. Prepare the saturation report monthly and ensure that they are updated. Check the inventory status of tools & equipment. Conduct training for employees located at our manufacturing sites. Provide support and assistance to the team in carrying out the development work.
To be successful for this role:
Bac+5 with 5 years’ experience working in wiring activities. Advanced English is mandatory. Deep knowledge in assembly line process Strong analytical and synthesis skills Problem solving techniques.
