Job Description:

The Assembler works as an integral part of the production team responsible for inspection, assembly, packaging and the deburring of parts and/or materials.

Responsibilities:

Assembler Job Responsibilities include:Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fastenersRemoves small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.Inspects, deburrs, and properly cleans parts.Operate and properly adjust all electric and air torque guns, and understand readings on torque wrenches.Proper use hand tools.

Education: High School

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 3 months

• Three to six months related experience and/or training

Physical:

Assembler physical requirements:Senses Sight and hearing required; must be able to distinguish color (required particularly for electrical wiring).Body Motion Full range including bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, stepping up and down, full wrist action.Weight Lifting requirements are moderate for this job regularly lifting 25 pounds and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
