In our cleanrooms in Veldhoven we assemble, build and deliver complex lithography systems, from prototype to final product. You’ll work in a high-tech environment where standards are high and targets aren’t just aspirational – they’re necessary. This dynamic environment requires skilled manufacturing Engineers.
Due to our rapid growth and the need to expand our capabilities in our EUV Factory (EF) we are currently looking for Engineers who want to work during the weekends in a weekend-shift.
The main tasks in this role are assembling, adjusting and qualifying of (sub) modules and/or integrate into a final assembly (scanner system). Realize the planned production targets. The open vacancy is for the MID Work center.
This job consists 50% of the time assembly activities phase (swap parts, test sub assy’s, clean delicate high tech surfaces)
The other 50% are testing activities (leaktesting, High Voltage testing, qualification testing of sub assy’s).
Role and responsibilities
Assembles high quality complex products resulting in ASML finished products .
Adjusts the assembled products according to the specifications.
Testing the product for operation and functioning, with the help of test equipment and test protocols.
Pointing out and / or solving technical problems during assembly in consultation with the available resources in order to reduce interruption of production.
Looking for opportunities in reducing process cycle time and takes appropriate action.
Identifies and acts on quality, Cycle time and safety improving opportunities for ASML benefits.
Education and experience
You have a MBO 4 degree in the area of Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Applied physics, Aerospace, Electronics or Automotive engineering with relevant work experience.
Candidates with a HBO degree in the areas mentioned above can also apply, if you have hands-on assembly/qualification experience and experience with diagnosis to high tech equipment.
You like to work with your hands to assemble and make things work. You have hands-on experience with technical assembly in a high-tech or customer service environment, for example as a car mechanic, a construction worker or a technical service employee. Proven affinity with system assembling and troubleshooting is essential.

As a weekend Assembler/Technician you have a specific shift roster; Office hours on Friday and weekly alternating shifts on Saturday and Sunday.
Early shift: 6.00- 14.30 hour
Late shift: 13.30 - 22.00 hour
This position is offered for a one year within which you are trained to reach the desired competence level. Depending on performance and business need, the contract will be extended.
