Assembler Technician
**Job Title: Assembler Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an Assembler Technician with a minimum of one year of related experience or training in a manufacturing or assembly line environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, well-developed organizational and communication skills, and a capability to perform tasks requiring physical effort. **Responsibilities** + Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary parts, tools, and materials. + Assemble component parts to company specifications and customer expectations, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met. + Assemble shocks, sub-assemblies, or hose assemblies according to approved drawings or visual aids. + Operate machinery and use hand/power tools such as pneumatic press, torque wrench, and drill. + Operate a circular saw for cutting hose assemblies according to blueprint specifications. + Clean and prepare parts and sub-assemblies for assembly. + Recommend changes for process or quality improvements. + Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety and environmental policies. + Perform visual and mechanical inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies for defects. + Report quality issues to lead or supervisor. + Ensure housekeeping activities are completed and maintain work area in an orderly condition. + Exhibit integrity and ethical behavior in all activities and maintain accountability for performance. + Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly line. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written directions. + Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand on feet for the full shift. + Basic knowledge of hand tools and ability to read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and written instructions. + Proficient computer skills for navigating software programs such as SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft. + Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of basic math, including decimals. + Familiarity with hand tools, torque wrenches, bench grinders, drill press, and calipers. **Why Work Here?** This is a great place to work, especially for automotive enthusiasts. Employees work a 4-10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, with Friday off. Standard hours are from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential overtime on Fridays. The work requires standing on feet all day during a 10-hour shift, with three breaks throughout the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
