**Position Summary:** To use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test mechanical and electrical devices. **Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):** + Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures. + Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Manufacturing Engineer. + Use tools to make or repair parts and products + Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products + Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry. + Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. **Essential Qualifications / Experience:** + Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. + Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 25 lbs. without assistance. + Familiar with use of computers + Attention to detail. + Must have a basic reading/writing ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions. + Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. $18.00/hour. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
