Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

The role involves the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. The Assembler will be responsible for wiring the power systems and assembling electrical components. A crucial part of the job includes reading schematics and engineering drawings for assembly and using a variety of hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures.

Responsibilities

Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems.Wire power systems and assemble electrical components.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, or schematic drawings.Use hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly tasks.Stand for the entire shift and use ladders for assembling units up to 8 feet in height.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.Capability to read a tape measure accurately.High School Diploma or GED required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing is advantageous.Construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or related industries is beneficial.Entry level.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations and bays. This environment is not climate-controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans help keep the air moving. Safety shoes, glasses, and ear plugs are required as needed. The shift is from 6:00am to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) and 6:00am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. Availability for Saturday work is mandatory

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50/hr.
