An established precision engineering business based in South Ruislip is currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Assembler to join their team on a temporary basis due to increased workload.
This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with previous assembly or production experience who enjoys working with precision components and following technical instructions.
The Role You will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies, ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Assembly of mechanical components and sub-assemblies Working from engineering drawings, diagrams, and assembly instructions Using hand tools and basic workshop equipment safely and correctly Carrying out visual and basic quality checks on assembled parts Identifying and reporting any defects, faults, or missing components Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Supporting wider production and workshop tasks where required Working to production schedules and deadlines Skills & Experience Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, production, or engineering environment (preferred) Confident using hand tools and basic assembly equipment Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings Good attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team A practical, hands-on approach to work
