**Job Title: Assembly and Equipment Operator**
**Job Description**
The role involves assembling products and operating equipment safely, productively, and ergonomically while ensuring the manufacturing of high-quality parts and assemblies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble, package, and label products.
+ Operate equipment and tools such as an impact wrench, drill, mallet, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet gun.
+ Continuously produce at an acceptable level of productivity under supervision.
+ Ensure production of quality finished goods with minimal quality issues.
+ Maintain assembly jigs, hand tools, and equipment in good working order.
+ Possess basic product knowledge, including identification of wheels, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts.
+ Keep a clean and organized workplace by maintaining tools and hardware, sweeping the floor, and managing trash appropriately.
+ Notify Production Supervisor about tools needing repair, low inventory of daily use items, and any poor quality product issues.
+ Accurately read assembly drawings for dimensions, parts lists, assembly instructions, and critical to quality (CTQ) requirements.
+ Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as per Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) requirements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in manufacturing assembly preferred.
+ Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals.
+ Familiarity with packaging, assembly, labelling, and packing.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and general labor tasks.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic assembly.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in order picking, warehouse operations, and general production.

**Schedule**
1st shift: 6am-230pm
Mid Shift: 1030am-7pm
**Work Environment**
The work environment is non-climate controlled and can be loud, requiring employees to adhere to safety protocols, including wearing safety glasses and gloves.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, MO.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.47 - $19.47/hr.
