As a Wiring Assembler, you will be responsible for constructing wire harnesses and electrical assemblies with precision and attention to detail. This role requires strong diagram interpretation skills, familiarity with electrical components, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble wire harnesses and electrical assemblies by connecting wires to components, plugs, or terminal strips.Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure accurate assembly.Choose appropriate wires based on color, markings, and length specifications.Operate various tools, including crimping devices, to secure wire connections effectively.Wrap and tie wires, bundle cables, and apply wire markers to produce neat and organized harnesses that meet industry standards.Use continuity testers to verify wiring integrity and identify/remove defective components.Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition to ensure consistent performance.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly.Proficiency with hand tools.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Strong wiring skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work off work instructions.Proficiency in reading tape measures.Physical ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.Why Work Here?Enjoy working in a beautiful facility that supports a positive work environment.
Work EnvironmentThe work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role involves working in a production environment that requires precision and attention to detail with tools and tape measures. Dress code is casual with an emphasis on safety and practicality.
